2017 ShadFest Music Preview

Take in the talent of the Delaware River Towns at Shad Fest 2017. The popular annual festival returns to Lambertville April 29, 2017 & April 30, 2017 from 12:30pm to5:30pm each day – rain or shine!
For the first time ever, seating will be available in front of the performances on Union Street in the parking lot. Plus, on Friday evening, Jules Pizza Truck and OWowCow will be on hand offering delicious refreshments during the performances.

Friday Night:

5:00pm  Roxey Ballet

The Roxey Ballet performs cutting edge, contemporary ballet to critical acclaim throughout the United States. The progressive company produces out-of-the box dance performances that redefine the way audiences view ballet and dance.

6:00pm  The Paisley Pickles Band
Since 2009, the Paisley Pickles have added zip, zest and zaniness to kids’ music through high-energy, interactive concerts. Passionate about creating catchy music with important messages, this trio of dads has developed a memorable pickle panache that appeals to audiences of all ages.

1:00pm  Jesse Elliott and the Falconaires
Working within the American and British songwriting traditions, Jesse Elliot creates a unique blend of folk, rock, and blues in his music. Nuanced at times and more distinct at others, influences, including Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Lou Reed, Tom Waits, Randy Newman, Harry Nilsson, Leonard Cohen, Rivers Cuomo, and John Cale, can be heard in his work. With the release of his debut album, “I Gave You My All,” in June of 2015–featuring lead guitarist Jim McGee, bassist Ed Pratico, rhythm guitarist Brian Spitz, pianist Luke Elliot, and drummer Frank Lettieri–Jesse shared 10 original songs with his supporters and fans.

2:30pm Scoville Blues Band
A high energy blues band with many different influences to help define their style.  From contemporary blues rock to traditional Texas and Chicago styles to funky New Orleans blues the band has something for everybody.

1:00pm Pyrenesia 
Blending vintage jazz with gypsy, klezmer, and folk influences, PYRENESIA crafts music that is hauntingly beautiful and infectiously joyous into a foot-stomping, spirit-lifting experience.

2:30pm Jean Therapy
The Jean Therapy Band is an eclectic Cover Band playing an interesting fusion of Rock, Latin, Retro Pop & Blues from the 60’s & 70’s. Throw in a mix of contemporary “get up and dance” hits and you’ve got a party with great appeal and an out-of-the-box edge.

4:00pm Exit Row Band
An award-winning band that has rocked from New England to Virginia, from the Hamptons to NYC to Jones Beach and all the coolest venues in NJ. They play a mixture of oldies, classic rock and blues, today’s hits on the radio, and their own material. Get ready to dance!
