Mark your calendar for the annual shearing fest – Saturday, April 1, 2017 & Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 10am-4pm (rain or shine) at WoodsEdge Wools Farm in Stockton.
In the world of alpacas & llamas, “harvest time” comes much earlier than autumn. In fact, it usually occurs in the spring in conjunction with “Shearing Day,” when the annual fleece growth is shorn off the alpacas & llamas to prepare them for comfort as the hot summer weather approaches.
Watch the first step in our Field to Fashion process where we harvest luxurious fiber that is converted into functional and fashionable items. The Farm Store will be open for your shopping pleasure.
