Announcing the BH Holiday Lights Contest!

There are few things more exciting than driving around during the holiday season to look at all of the beautifully decorated homes. And this year it’s getting even more exciting with the Bucks Happening Holiday Lights Contest!

It’s simple, send in your Bucks County holiday home photos to [email protected] along with contact information- including name, phone number, and address (we won’t share your exact address with viewers, just towns).

We’ll post the pictures on our website and the photo with the most votes by midnight on 12/29 wins a $100 gift certificate to Montgomery Mall (perfect for some last minute gifts)! Just outside Bucks County, Montgomery Mall features four department stores, JCPenney, Macy’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Sears along with 150 specialty shops including Hollister, Gap, and LOFT. Eateries at Montgomery Mall include Salsa’s Mexican Grill and TGI Friday’s, plus an extensive food court.

While we will be accepting photo submissions through 12/29, the voting kicks off on Monday, December 16th. Send in your photos asap to get maximum voting exposure. All homes entered must be located in Bucks County or within 15 miles of it’s borders.

Enter yourself; enter your friends; enter your neighbors- we want to see all of your amazing homes! Happy Holidays!

Shad’Toberfest Canceled

As you may have heard, Lambertville was devastated by flooding from Ida.

We decided to cancel Shad’Tober. The decision was not reached lightly. However, we could not burden the already stressed infrastructure of the City. The festival brings thousands of visitors to Lambertville and that burden would not help our City right now. The need in Lambertville is great with over half the homes in the City affected by Hurricane Ida’s unprecedented flooding. There are some people that will spend a year getting their house back to a livable condition and some who will never return to their beloved homes because of the severe damage they sustained. In light of this tragedy, we are working on a fundraiser to benefit those flood victims hit hardest by
Hurricane Ida. Stay tuned for details.
