Frenchtown's May Dual Art Exhibit

Art + Collaboration.

Neighboring Frenchtown art galleries, Schmidtberger Fine Art Gallery and the River Bridge Gallery, will be joining forces to present a dual exhibit and opening celebration for four mid to late-career painters.
The show will run from May 26 through June 23, 2018.  The Schmidtberger spring show features new work by Dick De Groot, Corinne Lalin, and John Schmidtberger; Roger Laux Nelson will be showing at The River Bridge Gallery.

 

Public Opening Reception – Come one, Come all.

The public is invited to a combined opening night reception for the artists on Saturday, May 26 from 6-8pm. Both galleries are located in the historic GEM Building at 10 Bridge Street, Frenchtown, NJ. This exciting event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

Shad’Toberfest Canceled

 
As you may have heard, Lambertville was devastated by flooding from Ida.
 
We decided to cancel Shad’Toberfest. This decision was not made lightly. However, we could not burden the already stressed infrastructure of the City. The festival brings thousands of visitors to Lambertville and that burden would not help our City right now.
 
The need in Lambertville is great with over half the homes in the City affected by Hurricane Ida’s unprecedented flooding.
 
There are some people that will spend a year getting their house back to a livable condition and some who will never return to their beloved homes because of the severe damage they sustained. In light of this tragedy, we are working on a fundraiser to benefit those flood victims hit hardest by Hurricane Ida. Stay tuned for details.
