The days are long and the breeze is warm – there is something magical about summer evenings along the Delaware River. Take in one of these upcoming events to make the most of the sensational summer season:
1st Fridays & Fireworks

The skies over Lambertville and New Hope will again explode with color this summer as the Delaware River Towns Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau secured approvals for the return of the popular fireworks program.
These hugely popular displays are returning to Lambertville & New Hope, shining a light on our many fine stores, restaurants and entertainment venues of the Delaware River Towns.

The fireworks will coincide with the Chamber’s popular “First Fridays” program, featuring special promotions and events from dozens of galleries, boutiques, and restaurants on both sides of the Delaware River.
From 5pm to 9pm on the first Friday of each month, over a dozen galleries from both Lambertville, NJ and New Hope, PA will be participating in what the organizers hope will become one of of the most robust cultural events in the country. You can also expect live music and special offers at area bars and restaurants.

Join us for a magical journey as we learn about these whimsical creatures. After a short discussion on firefly life history, we will decorate a catcher and head out just as the first twinkles begin. This program is sure to bring out the kid in everyone.  Members: $6/adult; $4/child. Non-members: $8/adult; $6/child. Advance registration required by July 5.

A Bastille celebration Frenchtown-style! Art, music, mimes, puppets and more. Join us for a little riverside fun and celebrate all things Francais. Shops and restaurants will be offering French-themed specials and the day will end with a radio theater performance at Frenchtown’s new arts center, Art Yard.
