Fox Chase Cancer Center Receives $5,000 from New Hope-Solebury Community Association and The New Hope Automobile Show

Fox Chase Cancer Center has received a donation of $5,000 from the New Hope-Solebury Community Association, proceeds from this year’s edition of The New Hope Automobile Show.
This financial gift is made possible from the support of donors, sponsors, registrants and attendees of the events celebrating the 60th anniversary of The New Hope Automobile Show, including two Road Rallies, the Whitewall – Black Tie Cocktail Party, and the Show itself, which took place on August 13, 2017.
Since 1957, proceeds from The New Hope Automobile Show have provided funds for numerous Bucks County charities and non-profit organizations, student scholarships, and the cancer research of Fox Chase Cancer Center.

Shad’Toberfest Canceled

As you may have heard, Lambertville was devastated by flooding from Ida.

We decided to cancel Shad’Toberfest. This decision was not made lightly. However, we could not burden the already stressed infrastructure of the City. The festival brings thousands of visitors to Lambertville and that burden would not help our City right now.

The need in Lambertville is great with over half the homes in the City affected by Hurricane Ida’s unprecedented flooding.

There are some people that will spend a year getting their house back to a livable condition and some who will never return to their beloved homes because of the severe damage they sustained. In light of this tragedy, we are working on a fundraiser to benefit those flood victims hit hardest by Hurricane Ida. Stay tuned for details.
