Town Wide Yard Sale in Frenchtown


Attention treasure hunters and deal-seekers! Frenchtown, sponsored by the Frenchtown Lions Club, will host a town-wide garage sale on May 19, 2017 and May 20, 2017 from 8am to 2pm.

The Frenchtown Lions Club serves to raise funds to improve eyesight and eye health globally by contributing to Delaware Valley and New Jersey eye banks, Lions District 16 Eye and Ear foundation, and Camp Marcella for the blind. Locally the club freely contributes to the needs of the Frenchtown community by sponsoring various civic programs and community based festivities for children and adults alike including a children’s Holiday party, Easter egg hunt, 8th and 12th grade community service awards, a holiday fund for the needy, town-wide yard sale and the community garden.

Shad’Toberfest Canceled

 
As you may have heard, Lambertville was devastated by flooding from Ida.
 
We decided to cancel Shad’Toberfest. This decision was not made lightly. However, we could not burden the already stressed infrastructure of the City. The festival brings thousands of visitors to Lambertville and that burden would not help our City right now.
 
The need in Lambertville is great with over half the homes in the City affected by Hurricane Ida’s unprecedented flooding.
 
There are some people that will spend a year getting their house back to a livable condition and some who will never return to their beloved homes because of the severe damage they sustained. In light of this tragedy, we are working on a fundraiser to benefit those flood victims hit hardest by Hurricane Ida. Stay tuned for details.
