Monday just got a whole lot more interesting! On Monday, February 22, 2016 at 7:00 pm, the
Inn of the Hawke in Lambertville is hosting a Beer Pairing Dinner with New Jersey’s own Kane Brewing Company.

Launched in August of 2011, Monmouth County’s Kane Brewing Company is a small craft brewery located on the coast of New Jersey. They focus on unfiltered, unpasteurized and brewed locally American-style and Belgian influenced ales.

Here’s the menu:

Pairing #1
Head High – India Pale Ale – 6.5% ABV
Pan Seared Sea Scallops, Pan Orange Beurre Blanc, Brioche Toast

Pairing #2
Single Fin – Belgian-style Blonde Ale – 8.2% ABV
Classic Wedge Salad – Iceberg Lettuce, Crispy Bacon, Housemade Bleu Cheese Dressing

Pairing #3
Simplicity – Belgian Golden Strong Ale – 8.0% ABV
Vegetable Spring Rolls, Sweet Thai Chili Sauce, Cucumber Salad

Pairing #4
Overhead – Imperial IPA – 8.2% ABV
Chipotle Brown Sugar Rubbed Braised Brisket, Coleslaw

Pairing #5
Solitude – Belgian Dark Strong Ale – 9.8% ABV
Dark Chocolate Mousse filled Crepe, Bing Cherry Compote

Shad’Toberfest Canceled

As you may have heard, Lambertville was devastated by flooding from Ida.
We decided to cancel Shad’Tober. The decision was not reached lightly. However, we could not burden the already stressed infrastructure of the City. The festival brings thousands of visitors to Lambertville and that burden would not help our City right now. The need in Lambertville is great with over half the homes in the City affected by Hurricane Ida’s unprecedented flooding. There are some people that will spend a year getting their house back to a livable condition and some who will never return to their beloved homes because of the severe damage they sustained. In light of this tragedy, we are working on a fundraiser to benefit those flood victims hit hardest by
Hurricane Ida. Stay tuned for details.
