New Book Launch Party at Woolverton Inn Features 16 Women's stories who have suffered from domestic violence

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, with statistics as saying that 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men have suffered from domestic violence by a significant partner. Domestic Violence does not discriminate, regardless of age, ability, gender, sexual orientation, or race.
In observation of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, BW NICE, Inc., invites the general public to the beautiful and award-winning Woolverton Inn in Stockton, NJ, on Wednesday, October 25th, to celebrate the launch of “Towards The Light”, a collaboration of stories shared by courageous women that will inspire you and bring hope to those in need.
Enjoy networking, appetizers, wine, music, and an inspirational performance by singer/songwriter Juliette Reilly from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.! Event Fee: $25 and receive a signed copy of the book!
BW NICE, Inc. Business Women Networking Involving Charity & Education, provides women at all stages of business and personal life with support, education and resources. We see value in the balance of business networking and charitable outreach. We bring women together to gain meaningful business connections, learn new ways to succeed, and foster an empowering environment. Each BW NICE chapter raises funds and awareness supporting a local organization in the fight against domestic violence.

Shad’Toberfest Canceled

As you may have heard, Lambertville was devastated by flooding from Ida.

We decided to cancel Shad’Toberfest. This decision was not made lightly. However, we could not burden the already stressed infrastructure of the City. The festival brings thousands of visitors to Lambertville and that burden would not help our City right now.

The need in Lambertville is great with over half the homes in the City affected by Hurricane Ida’s unprecedented flooding.

There are some people that will spend a year getting their house back to a livable condition and some who will never return to their beloved homes because of the severe damage they sustained. In light of this tragedy, we are working on a fundraiser to benefit those flood victims hit hardest by Hurricane Ida. Stay tuned for details.
