The New Hope Historical Society presents “Artists Alive” September 9th through 11th at the New Hope Arts Center, located at 2 Stockton Ave.
Artists will display their work to the public and also compete for the “Benjamin Parry Medal of Recognition” as judged by Dot Bunn, Tamara Cannon of Gallery Piquel, and Lisa Tremper Hanover of the Michener Museum.
Their online Sales Gallery represents the work of ALL 126 artists who entered the show. In total there are 413 works. The Judges independently selected 123 to be exhibited. All work is for sale and can be purchased before, during and after the show from this Online Sales Gallery. It will remain online until the end of September.
35% to benefit the New Hope Historical Society, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to inspire people to explore New Hope’s past, understand its present, and envision a better future.

Shad’Toberfest Canceled

As you may have heard, Lambertville was devastated by flooding from Ida.

We decided to cancel Shad’Toberfest. This decision was not made lightly. However, we could not burden the already stressed infrastructure of the City. The festival brings thousands of visitors to Lambertville and that burden would not help our City right now.

The need in Lambertville is great with over half the homes in the City affected by Hurricane Ida’s unprecedented flooding.

There are some people that will spend a year getting their house back to a livable condition and some who will never return to their beloved homes because of the severe damage they sustained. In light of this tragedy, we are working on a fundraiser to benefit those flood victims hit hardest by Hurricane Ida. Stay tuned for details.
