Peddler’s Village to Present New Outdoor Murder Mystery Event Starting on February 13

Saturday afternoon “Murder By Gaslight 2: The Murder of Emmeline” walking tours will run through May 2021

Lahaska, PA–Peddler’s Village, a countryside shopping, dining, lodging, and family entertainment destination in the heart of historic Bucks County, PA, that has presented weekly murder mystery dinner theater performances for decades, will present a new outdoor Murder Mystery Walking Tour series—“Murder by Gaslight 2: The Murder of Emmeline”—starting on Saturday, February 13. The new fresh-air format has been very well received by guests since it was introduced in 2020 in response to safety concerns and indoor restrictions. Murder Mystery Walking Tours are currently planned for 2, 3, and 4 pm every Saturday through May 30. Tickets for the hour-long event are $25 per person and include a 10% dining discount on the day of the event for dine-in or takeout at Earl’s New American, Buttonwood Grill, Cock ‘n Bull, Hart’s Tavern, and Peddler’s Pub. Pairing mystery and comedy, these events are presented in partnership with Without a Cue Productions, based in Bensalem, PA. While presenting the events, Peddler’s Village and Without a Cue will adhere to all state and local safety requirements, including asking guests and employees who feel ill to refrain from participating; asking all guests to wear masks; limiting attendance to 25 people per tour, and encouraging social distancing throughout the event. The event is appropriate for all ages.

“Our new outdoor Mystery Tours have been a great success, and we are pleased to introduce this new series,” said Bob McGowan, chief operating officer of Peddler’s Village. “We are committed to doing all we can in safe and appealing ways to deliver entertainment as well as shopping and dining opportunities during this challenging time when people really need these kinds of uplifting diversions.”

Throughout February, Peddler’s Village will present “Share the Love,” a month-long celebration of shopping opportunities, cuisine and beverage specials, romantic winter lodging deals at the Golden Plough Inn, and live music on select weekends.
