Prallsville Mills Hosts Annual Fine Art and Craft Show

The holiday shopping season will kick off in earnest with the annual Fine Art and Craft Show and Sale on December 2 and 3 at the Prallsville Mills in Stockton, NJ.
Approximately 40 artists will participate in this year’s show and sale, including long-time favorite and new vendors. From fine woodwork to handcrafted jewelry and clothing, from high-end photography and paintings to whimsical creations, the show features gifts for everyone.
“This show is one of the highlights of the year for the Prallsville Mills community,” said Beth Japchen, the incoming Director of the Delaware River Mill Society, which operates the Mill complex. “Each years, it’s wonderful to see our returning friends and to discover new artists.”
Lunch will be for sale from Dilly’s Corner. The show runs through the first weekend of December. Hours on Saturday, 12-2 are 9:30-5pm. On Sunday, 12-3, the hours are 10-4pm.

Shad’Toberfest Canceled

As you may have heard, Lambertville was devastated by flooding from Ida.

We decided to cancel Shad’Tober. The decision was not reached lightly. However, we could not burden the already stressed infrastructure of the City. The festival brings thousands of visitors to Lambertville and that burden would not help our City right now. The need in Lambertville is great with over half the homes in the City affected by Hurricane Ida’s unprecedented flooding. There are some people that will spend a year getting their house back to a livable condition and some who will never return to their beloved homes because of the severe damage they sustained. In light of this tragedy, we are working on a fundraiser to benefit those flood victims hit hardest by
Hurricane Ida. Stay tuned for details.
