The Greater Lambertville Chamber of Commerce is excited to continue its Shad Festival tradition. This year marks the 40th celebrated Shad Fest that has evolved from a local art show into a nationally recognized, award-winning event. Shad Fest won “Best Event” by the Bucks County Herald. This festival was influential in Lambertville being named “Best Destination 2023” by Jersey’s Best Magazine. A two-day event, filled with hand-crafted art, jewelry, home goods, food, music, children’s activities, and Shad fishing demonstrations.
Shad Fest transforms the downtown area of the City of Lambertville and draws tens of thousands of visitors to our city. Proceeds from this event support the Chamber, as well as Lewis Island Shad Fishery. In the spring of 1888, the Lewis Island Shad Fishery was one of dozens of commercial fishing sites. Today, it is the last operating fishery along the Delaware River. Now more than ever we need your support to make this event possible.
