Take a Tour of Jericho National Golf Course

Located midway between New Hope & Washington Crossing is a world-renowned golf course surrounded by some of the most beautiful rolling hills in Bucks County. Jericho National made its debut in 1999 under the ownership of Mick Karabots, a self-made millionaire in the printing and publishing business. The course was designed by the world-class architectural team of Dr. Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry, the duo behind Sand Barrens in New Jersey, Cooks Creek in Columbus, Ohio; Naples National in Naples, Fla.; and Eagle’s Landing in Ocean City, Md., to their credit.

Known for the dramatic bunkering and contoured greens, Jericho National has earned a reputation as one of the most challenging but enjoyable golf courses in the region. The 7,127 yard course was designed to play firm with fast putting surfaces and this concept has remained since inception. Jericho was built to be as timeless as the Bucks County countryside itself. The natural beauty offered by Jericho Mountain and its surroundings make for a spectacular golf experience on this exceptionally conditioned private club.

The course rating is 73.5 and it has a slope rating of 126 on Bent grass. It’s location on Jericho Mountain allows for beautiful views throughout your game. In fact, from the tee box at No. 6, off in the distance up on the far left hilltop, you can see Bowman’s Tower, an area used by Washington and his lookouts to keep track of British troops. Golfers are challenged by heavy mounding, slopes, and a multitude of sand bunkers.

One of Jericho’s most notable holes is the 8th, a 300-yard par-4, modeled after the Cape Hole, a famous hole at the National Golf Links of America on Long Island. Deceivingly simple, the hole lies along the length of the irrigation pond, intimidating with its looks, but it actually is the easiest hole on the front and the second easiest on the course. You can continue Jericho’s course tour here.

Not a golfer but still want to take in the spectacular views? In addition to their golf memberships, Jericho, which is located at 250 Brownsburg Rd in New Hope, also offers very affordable dining memberships.

Shad’Toberfest Canceled

As you may have heard, Lambertville was devastated by flooding from Ida.
We decided to cancel Shad’Toberfest. This decision was not made lightly. However, we could not burden the already stressed infrastructure of the City. The festival brings thousands of visitors to Lambertville and that burden would not help our City right now.
The need in Lambertville is great with over half the homes in the City affected by Hurricane Ida’s unprecedented flooding.
There are some people that will spend a year getting their house back to a livable condition and some who will never return to their beloved homes because of the severe damage they sustained. In light of this tragedy, we are working on a fundraiser to benefit those flood victims hit hardest by Hurricane Ida. Stay tuned for details.
